Ellevation does really important work. It’s a company and a brand dedicated to people learning and teaching English as a second language. As such, Ellevation is an indispensable partner to more than 800 school districts, countless teachers and more than three million students in nearly every state. Grove’s work had to make their complex value prop crystal clear to multiple audiences, all while never forgetting that this is about real people, real kids—kids for whom the ability to speak English is the key to a completely new life. This work had to work.

The thrust of Grove’s work on the initial Ellevation site was organizational: we had to organize content by audience type in order to keep the copy and messaging clean, simple, human, intelligible.
