DR. PLOTKA’S

Best. Toothbrush. Ever.

Your local pharmacy’s toothbrush section is no place to go looking for design inspiration. But it’s getting better. And that’s thanks in large part to the efforts of Dr. Plotka’s and Grove. Not too long ago, a visit to said toothbrush section would immerse you in dozens of variations on one theme: technical and 3-D illustrations rendered in metallic foils and other fancy printing, converting and finishing techniques. There was no outlier. No Ben & Jerry’s of dental hygiene. But the day this tiny dental health company called Grove, that started to change.

This brand was completely reimagined. We changed the name from Mouthwatchers to Dr. Plotka’s (the name of the inventor and dentist behind the brush).

We created a quirky graphical identity unlike anything in dental hygiene. We set out to turn Dr. Plotka’s into the Ben & Jerry’s of dental health—and it worked.
