SENIOR COPYWRITER
INTRODUCTION

SUMMARY OF ROLE
As an Account Manager, in a world-class brand agency, your role is an integral part of each client team and you will support the team on all account management tasks, working on a mix of exciting and innovative client projects. In some cases, you will manage certain client relationships, working in collaboration with senior colleagues from outside the Client Leadership team.
You will work as part of a wider client team, reporting into a Client Director, and you will be responsible for client team administration, management of project tasks and ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical
Effectively scope, plan and manage small to medium brand programs from initial brief through to launch, and post launch client support. This should be done to consistently high standards, demonstrating initiative and diligence
Have a good understanding of the branding process and how all the required roles, skills, activities and deliverables need to come together and be planned and managed to deliver success
Able to spot potential problems throughout the process and have foresight of the consequences to avoid in the first instance
Have an understanding of branding best practice and trends
Knowledge to include but not limited to: brand positioning and architecture, naming, visual and verbal identity, guidelines and governance, employee engagement and implementation
Assist in briefing in and overseeing creative/production amends
Team-working
Provide account management and admin support across several different projects and clients
Clear and concise communicator, keeping the team updated through managing contact and status reports as well as client communications. Managing emails/messages and responding appropriately
Assist the team in taking notes in any meetings you attend to ensure a contact report is written and distributed to the team
Diary management and help to ensure attendance of key team members in meetings and workshops; prepare the room and bring all necessary paperwork to the meeting
Supporting the project Account Director, by requesting the correct and necessary studio resource from the resourcing team to ensure all client workstreams to deliver against budgets and agreed deadlines
Commercial
Support the team with the day to day financial admin to ensure delivery against budgets and expectations
Ensure all team members are working to correct job number
Ensure files are up-to-date and filed correctly on the system
Role specific professional and technical skills
A successful track record in managing small proposals, projects, clients and internal teams
Strong account management skills
Great organizational skills and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines o Great attention to detail
Great communicator with the confidence and ability to manage upwards
